EQUITY SALE

Notice is hereby given that, on Thursday, the fifteenth day of November, A.D. 1888, at 11 of the clock in the forenoon, at or near the office of Stevens & Mitchell, barristers, in the Town of Saint Stephen, in the County of Charlotte, there will be sold at Public Auction, under and by virtue of the provisions and directions of a decree of the Supreme Court in Equity, bearing date the 26th day of September, A.D. 1888, made in a certain suit there pending,

Wherein Dugald Campbell and John Campbell are plaintiffs, and Hugh Campbell, Samuel Trecarten and Grace Trecarten his wife, Carrie Campbell, Henry Campbell, Isabella Campbell, George Campbell, and Percy Campbell, infant children of the late Alexander Campbell, deceased, George Campbell and William Jabez Campbell, infant children of the late William Jabez Campbell, deceased, William Love, Lelia Love, Margaret Love, Archibald Love, William Love, junior, and John Herbert Love, infant children of William Love and the late Abigail A. Love, deceased, Mary Eliza Campbell, John Boyd and Janet Boyd his wife, Robert Joy and Sarah Ann Joy his wife, are defendants;

And by amendment,

Between Dugald Campbell and John Campbell as plaintiffs and Hugh Campbell, Samuel Trecarten and Grace Trecarten his wife, Carrie Campbell, Henry Campbell, Isabella Campbell, George and Percy Campbell, infant children of the late Alexander Campbell, deceased, George Campbell and William Jabez Campbell, infant children of the late William Jabez Campbell, deceased, William Love, Lelia Love, Margaret Love, Archibald Love, William Love, junior, and John Herbert Love, infant children of William Love and the late Abigail A. Love, deceased, Mary Eliza Campbell, John Boyd and Janet Boyd his wife, Robert Joy and Sarah Ann Joy his wife, and Charles F. Todd as defendants, with the approbation of the undersigned Referee in Equity, the several lots of land and premises mentioned and described in said Decree in this suit as follows:

1. The homestead premises being all that certain lot or piece of land situate in the Parish of Saint Stephen, County of Charlotte, and bounded on the east by the road leading to the Rural Cemetery, on the westerly side by the Barter Settlement road, southerly by land of Allen Kennedy, and northerly by land of Samuel Getchell, containing about one hundred acres, more or less, save and except the one fourth part of such homestead devised by the testator, John Campbell, to his brother, Alexander Campbell, and which the said Alexander Campbell under the terms of the will elected to take; the three-fourths of the said homestead to be partitioned therefore containing seventy-five acres, more or less.

2. Lots containing eleven acres, more or less, situate in the Town of Saint Stephen, in the County of Charlotte, described as follows: - Bounded on the north-east by land of John Veazey, on the south-west by a reserved two rod road and the Getchell Settlement road, on the north-west by land of Dugald Campbell, and on the south-east by the road leading from Saint Stephen to Milltown, and also that certain other lot or parcel of land situate on the south-east side of the road leading from Saint Stephen to Milltown, in the Town of Saint Stephen, and bounded on the north-east by land of John Veazey, south-west by land belonging to Abner Hill's estate, and north-west by the road leading from Saint Stephen to Milltown, both of aforesaid lots containing about eleven acres, more or less.

3. Lot containing eighty acres, more or less, situate in the Parish of Saint Stephen, in the County of Charlotte, described as follows:- That certain lot, piece or parcel of land and premises, situate, lying and being in the Parish of Saint Stephen, in the County aforesaid, described as follows:- Being lot number 157, bounded north by land formerly owned by Stephen Hill, senior, south by land in the possession of James Bowes, west by the Moannes stream, and east by land formerly owned by one Aaron Ash.

4. Lot containing fifty acres, more or less, situate in the Parish of Saint Stephen aforesaid described as follows:- All that certain piece or parcel of land situate in the Parish of Saint Stephen aforesaid, bounded and described as follows:- Lying to the south-eastern side of a certain bound or stake placed in the Moannes stream by Timothy Crocker and Peter Brown, arbitrators chosen to divide land between John Campbell and George Middlemast, and running from said stake or bound in such a direction or course as to intersect the line run by Edward Jack, Esquire, where the said line crosses the road to the Little Ridge, so called; thence following the said line so run by the said Edward Jack to the rear of the said tract so conveyed to the said Stephen Hill and wife.

5. Lot containing thirty acres, more or less, situate in the Parish of Saint James, in the County of Charlotte, and bounded as follows, viz.:- Commencing at the mouth of the brook commonly called the Wortleberry brook, thence running up stream of the Moannes northerly to Doren's line (being the west line of John Doren's lot), thence south-easterly along said Doren's line to the Wortleberry brook aforesaid, thence along said brook to the place of beginning.
