John Campbell to John Cameron  No. 54

Know all men by these presents That we John Campbell and Rachel my wife of the parish of Saint George in the County of Charlotte For and in consideration of the sum of four pounds lawful money to us well and truly paid by John Cameron of the said parish of Saint George the County aforesaid, yeoman, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Have Granted bargained and sold and hereby Grant Bargain and sell unto the said John Cameron his heirs and assigns forever, all and whole that piece of land situated as follows viz commencing at the North west corner of land formerly sold by us to the said John Cameron running from thence North thirteen rods more or less to the Corner of our fence close by a Birch tree from thence South East till it meets James Manns line. To Have and to Hold said land with all the privileges and appurtenances thereto appertaining and belonging to the said John Cameron his Heirs and Assigns forever. And we do for ourselves our Heirs Executors Administrators covenant with the said John Cameron his Heirs and Assigns that we are seized of the premises as a good indefeasible estate of Inheritance in Fee simple free of and from all manner of incumbrances whatsoever and have good right and lawful authority to sell in manner before mentioned. In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our Hands and Seals at Saint George this eleventh day of April Anno Domini 1825.

Personally came before me Patrick Clinch Esquire one of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Charlotte the above named John Campbell and acknowledged the foregoing instrument to be his voluntary act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned.  AD 1825 St George 11th August
