This Indenture made this Twenty fifth day of March One
thousand Seven hundred and Ninety seven between Tillah Howe of
the Township of Pennfield County of Charlotte and Province of New
Brunswick of the one part And John Garrison of the City of Saint
John and Province aforesaid of the Other part Witnesseth that for
and in Consideration of the Sum of Eight pounds to him in hand
paid the receipt Whereof is hereby Acknowledged the aforesaid
Tillah Howe for himself his heirs Executors administrators and
assigns hath granted bargined and sold and by these presents doth
grant bargin and sell unto the aforesaid John Garrison his heirs
Executors administrators and assigns the one half of a lot of
land fronting the Water known and described by lott No. One
Letter A Situate and being in the Town plot of Beaver Harbour in
the Township and County Aforesaid with all and singular the ways
Timber woods and under wood waters and water Courses rights and
appurtenances thereunto belonging or anywise appertaining to have
and to hold unto him the said John Garrison his heirs Executors
Administrators and assigns For ever And he the Said Tillah Howe
doth hereby warrant and defend the aforesaid Premises against any
person or persons Whatever. In Witness Whereof I have
