To His Honor Gabriel G. Ludlow Esq. President of His Majesties Council and Commander in Chief of this Province of New Brunswick & & &
The Memorial of Samuel G. Cain, Elias Secord and William Humphries of Hemsted Queens County most Humbly Sheweth -
That your memorialists having no Lands in the Province and being desirous of settling upon Farms, that they may be enabled to supporting their Families, and having explored Lands in the rear of Lots No 17 18 & 19 in the Grant to James Green & others on what is called Long Creek S. E. side of the Washademoack Lake or river to be laid out in Lots nearly at Right Angles a cross the stream or river.
Your Memorialists therefore Humbly Pray that Your Honor the President will be pleased to take the matter into consideration and grant said Lots giveing them an Equal chance with other Applicants and your Memorialists in duty bound will ever Pray
